ACTIVITIES
Here you will find all the different activities that have been carried out during the SLIPS project.
PROJECT PROGRESS EVENTS
KICK OFF EVENT / TPM I
The Kick-off event was held on 16 February 2024 and comprised of a 1-day event in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. It welcomed more than 44 participants including project partners and external stakeholders from public institutions, civil society, and the education sector (ie. schools/teachers), who were introduced to the 'Service-Learning In Primary Schools' (SLIPS) project and experienced increased awareness and interest in getting involved in the topic.

MIDTERM EVENT / TPM II
The Mid-term project event took place on 24 January 2025 and consisted of a 1-day event in Granada, Spain. It welcomed 25 participants including project partners and external stakeholders. Those previously involved in the kick off meeting, and those involved with the piloting outside of the partnership, were invited to attend, to further the interest generated about the project and strengthen the potential community of practice, which is building and following the project, even without being involved in the concrete project implementation.
FINAL EVENT / TPM III
The Final Project Event took place in Brussels, Belgium on 14 October 2025. It welcomed 53 participants (44 female, 8 male and 1 non-binary) including project partners and external stakeholders from various backgrounds with experience and/or interest in Service Learning including:

SLIPS partner organisations from different European countries including representatives from volunteering organisations, universities and a European-level SME;

Civil society organisations including those representing the volunteering and educational sectors;

Educational sector including representatives from universities, pedagogical institutes and the primary education level;
-
Public authorities such as municipality representatives and pedagogical institutes from different European cities.
t was organised to close the project, inviting relevant stakeholders and interested parties again to ensure the widest possible dissemination of the project successes and best practices.
